James McKenney lit a candle on 2nd October, 2008:

I'm still thinking about you guy. It's only been a couple months but it's still hard to imagine you're gone.

Hopefully you'll stop by and visit us in spirit when we go up snowboarding in your honor and memory.

George Lee lit a candle on 23rd July, 2008:

It just seems like the other day we were hanging out at Mills...and then we graduated and had some fun at sjsu. I can't believe your gone man. In the time that I knew you and when we did hang out, you always had a smile on your face. You were always down for whatever. I can't believe your really gone. You will be remembered and missed. RIP my friend. Hope to see you again one day whether its up in heaven or in the next life.

Sirikhit lit a candle on 18th July, 2008:

Difficult imagining one’s young life taken away so abruptly and so pre-maturely. Where ever you are, we all know that you'll always have that wonderful smile on your face, a true beautiful soul who can always manage to make light of any situations.

I had a chance to work with Tony during his time at Tyco. What a wonderful, delightful, and light-hearted young man.

Glistening candles are lit, one after another…, raised to one brightest and shinest star. Someone here mentioned that you have gained your wings. Flying among other angels, don’t forget to look upon us once in a while and give us those wonderful and cheerful smile. Rest in Peace, Tony

My thought and prayers are with your family and love ones.

Corey L lit a candle on 18th July, 2008:

I'm still speechless, but wanted to send my parents' and my condolences to Tony's family. Tony was a monumental part of my childhood, and while we've parted ways later in life, the memories and experiences remain.

Gene Chan lit a candle on 17th July, 2008:

You had a great heart and sense of humor. It's hard to believe that you left so soon and so abrutly. I remember the days in Mills where I first met you. It's a shame we didn't have a chance to hang out more often. This past winter, you came out to Sierra and helped me out with snowboarding. I will always remember the light that you shined upon us, but now, your light eminates from us. The memories will always live on. May you rest in peace and continue to smile upon your loved ones.

Jason Park lit a candle on 17th July, 2008:

It was really good seeing you and your family today. Your brother really seems strong and I'm sure he'll be able to take care of your parents for you. We went out and had shots for you while we reminisced past memories for the next 4 hours. We had some really good times man. Hope to see you again on Sunday.

Pat Neyman lit a candle on 16th July, 2008:

You are the unusually bright-shining spark of life, and we had you far too short a time. Be at peace, my friend. I will miss you

Felix Fong lit a candle on 16th July, 2008:

Wow, I'm still shock after getting the news. It's just tragic of how you have to leave us so soon. You were always positive, strong and fun to be around. I knew you since middle school but we didn't really hang out till college. All those times we hung out at colonnade, at the club, snowboarding, busting a move with your bboy dance, chilling out at D&B and downing a 40 after finals will always be remembered. You will be forever be missed. Rest in peace.

Steve Dellinges lit a candle on 15th July, 2008:

I first met Tony trough a friend. We spent the day mountain biking and I remember how friendly and outgoing Tony was. I ended up working with Tony for a short time. I think of all times we met in the hall and our conversation would always turn to mountain bikes. He was always a positive influence and I will miss him. My thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends.

Julie Xiong lit a candle on 15th July, 2008:

Tony, you were the first friend I made at SJSU. Thanks for always being there for me and making me laugh with your goofy jokes. Even though I moved, you still managed to keep in touch. Words can't ever express how much that means to me. You will forever be in my thoughts and I will miss you deeply. Rest in peace.

Judy Vuong lit a candle on 15th July, 2008:

I don't remember how I met Tony. It was as if he just showed up one day and started making fun of me. But the moment he thought it went to far, he would be the first to apologize. (with some backhanded comment, of course) I tried hard to make fun of him but he would always turn whatever I said into something positive and that's how I will always remember him. He could put a positive spin on anything. Though our time together was short, he did teach me to be fearless be it snow boarding, mountain biking or ramming other rc cars at the colma parking lot. Tony, I'll miss your pirate talks, your love for nature and most of all I'll miss the way you bought out the best in all those you knew.

Allan G. lit a candle on 15th July, 2008:

I remember when I heard the news I simply couldn’t believe it. Tony was young but as it slowly occurred to me I have realized that Tony indeed lived his life wonderfully. He was always smiling and at the same time, made the people around him smile. Tony was well-loved and he had done so many things on earth and I’m sure he’ll do much more in heaven. I will forever be grateful to have known Tony. I will forever be grateful for spending my college years with a friend like him. All the memories I have shared with him will forever be cherished and remembered. Tony will forever live in our hearts.

Linda lit a candle on 15th July, 2008:

Tony, you are one of the most positive and nicest guys I'm glad to have known. I'm really sad thinking that I'll never be able to caravan up to Tahoe with you or go snowboarding down the backside of Northstar and watch you fall into a pile of soft snow (on purpose). When I busted my ankle last season I thought "If this had happened to Tony, he would have continued riding anyway" - you'd have sucked it up and kept going and I admired that in you as well as thought you were stupid. I don't think there's one person who has known you who has anything, ANYTHING negative to say about you. We'll all miss you, and we'll always remember you.

Peter lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

You were one of the few from SJSU that I remember and kept in touch with ... I just wish I made more of an effort.

You will be missed. I'll catch you on the flip side ...

Rest in peace.

Hamed lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Man...it seems like yesterday when we were hanging out at Mills. Every day, same routine...then we moved on to SJSU and our class schedules made it hard to meet up so we gradually drifted away from each other...and now you've moved on to a better place. You will be missed old friend - R.I.P.

Cassie Louie lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Hey Tony-it was so strange, I was just kickin it with Willie Friday night, and we were talking about you. We thought it would've been nice to get everyone together to kick it like the old days. There's never been a time when I haven't seen you with a smile on your face. You always knew how to look at the brighter side of things, and that's something I'll cherish forever. It's a shame we didn't hang out more often after high school. I would've loved to see you snowboard--I heard you were pretty good. Well, until the day we meet again, rest in peace. <3 Cass

Leslie Lan lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Tony...Although we only hung out a couple of times, I know how dearly you were loved by your friends and family. Thanks for making the world a better place and for always bringing smiles to our faces. You will truly be missed. Rest in peace, man. I hope there's snow up there just for you!

Jessica Ng lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Rest in peace Tony. You are such a nice guy, we will all miss you forever.

jengee lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

been a long time since sjsu... you were always such a happy guy. you will definitely be missed!

Justin Fok lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Hey Tony, I can't believe you're gone. The last thing you said to me was that when you got back, we would go riding together. Well I'm going on that ride right now, and I know you'll be there with me for this one and every other ride from now on. I'll miss you so much.

Jeff Murillo lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

You were a great friend and you have touched all of our lives. You will be missed and I still can't believe your gone. I'll always remember the good times we had. Hold down the fort up there and I'll see you again.

Bert Wong lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

I'm going to miss you man. You are one of those people that I am truly honored to call friend. You're the kind of person that always makes someone smile. We were supposed to start our Tahoe Adventures Company. You were supposed to be Maddox's mentor and teach him how to board. I can only imagine the mountain of snow you've found up there. As I'm trying to write this, I don't know what more to say. I'm going to miss you. My family is going to miss you. This world was a better place with you. You've always had a huge heart and a fun loving soul. One of my favorite quotes is "Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly". Fly high my friend, we're going to miss you.

Jason Warner lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

It’s amazing how people come into our lives for a reason and seem to be taken from us for no reason at all... You are truly one of the best guys I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Thinking back to how we met and how without you I would probably still be at SJSU trying to add in the wrong classes. We pretty much went through most of college together and I was honored to know such a good guy like you. Without hesitation you were willing to help in any way possible. I’m going to miss trying to plan a BBQ or snowboarding trip with all the guys from SJSU and making fun of OBI, but no worries because you know when I get up there with you I will be waiting for you on the corner so we can walk to class. Rest In Peace Bro, and remember to look over your family and friends.

James McKenney lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Tony was a good guy who always meant well. You can't find that in a lot of people these days and it's truly sad that someone with that kind of heart can be taken so early from life. You made good memories with people while you were here Tony. I know things are a heck of a lot easier on the other side.. find a good place there for us to hang out at up there when this is all said and done.

Nate Canio lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Tony, say it isn't so man. I can't believe you're actually gone. I just want to say that I'm thankful to have met someone like you in my life, someone who had the best positive attitude about everything. I remember when I first met you through Steven, I remember you watching Initial D! I also remember the times back in SJSU when we used to LAN back at our Colonnade apartment. Cars, driving, rallying, drifting, rc cars, Serious Sam, drinking, more computer games, dang those were fun times fo sho. You always knew the best tasting drinks like that Rumple Minze (50% alcohol) you gave me the night before I left. I'll always be reminded of you whenever I hear snowboarding / see a snowboard. Just watch over me next time I go since I know I'm gonna fall. You will be surely be missed. Rest in peace bro.

Darryl Cho lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

It seemed as if it was just yesterday we were spending our entire weekends running through the whole Zaino process on our cars, you going for the double car wax in one day! Back at SJSU, I remember how you would razor over to our spot at 101 San Fernando and we'd bomberman LAN party through the night. You were the first to get me into snowboarding and give me tips when we weren't snowboarding to step me up. You were definitely a great roommate, and were there for me during some of my low spots. Take care man, 'shred the rad' and 'jib the gnar'.

Jay Choi lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

yo tony, it took me a while to decide what to write here. i still can't believe you're gone. everytime i went out to cali u treated me like a true brother. we all had a real good times doin random things. ur that type of homeboy u kno, and you always will be in our hearts. i remember you asking me when the album's gonna drop everytime we had the chance to chat. just wait a few months and i'll make sure you hear it, tony. Rest in peace, my brother.

Owen Villar lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Although we didn't really know each other that much, I'm so glad to have been blessed by knowing you. You were the only person I knew that had more smile on his face than me. You will truly be missed. Rest in peace.

Steven Ho lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Tony, I could not believe the news when I got the call from your brother... I will always remember your laughter and positive attitude towards everything. I'll remember the days we had working at Hollywood Video stacking those DVDs and selling PVs. You were the 1st roommate I had in SJSU and we've had a lot of good times together. I hope you rest in peace.

Tam lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Tony, my heart just dropped when I first heard what had happened. We all cared deeply for you, because you have always been a happy and wonderful friend. My condolence goes out to you and your family. You will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace!

Nick lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Tony, We've known each other since Mills, and you couldn't have been a better friend. Because of you, I have all these wonderful friends at SJSU. I'll miss the Fiddler days, and the riding days, but most of all, I'll miss your upbeat balls to the wall attitude towards everything you do. You lived life with passion, and that's what it's all about. I'll be thinking of you every time I strap in buddy. BTW I'll be working on those killer nose-presses that you've got on lock. This one's for you!

Jonas lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

I drive by your house so often. It's a shame we didn't get to hang out more after college. We never got to go on our late night food escapade. You always showed a positive attitude that more people should learn from. Rest in peace.

Connie lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

You will be missed Tony. You were one of the first few friends that I made at SJSU and I'll always remember the times when we would hang out and you would listen to my "tong gui" stories. Rest in peace.

Jason Park lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Rest in piece man, your memories will never be forgotten.

The Dog lit a candle on 12th July, 2009:

Dude,
Thanks for the rain earlier today. I'm finishing the last of my Racer 5, and missing you. I'll never forget Milwaukee.
Peace

Brandon Wong lit a candle on 17th February, 2009:

It was crazy wicked this weekend. There was so much powder up at Sugarbowl... you know that place where we found the cave and fell into a hole! Anyways it snowed 2 feet on Sunday at it was empty. Thanks for making it snow, I was just about to switch back to mtn. biking.

Tony, man this is hard. Imma miss you bro. You were always such a nice guy. I still can't believe you're gone. The best part of you was you humor. It feels surreal. I've been meaning to IM you to let you know I moved close to your high school ever since this April but never got around to it. Now, everytime I drive past, I think about you. I can't believe the last time I saw you was at the gym and I might have made fun of the shirt you were wearing. I'll see you again and we'll have stuff to talk about... Rest in peace.

Claudio Martinez lit a candle on 15th July, 2008:

What a shock to hear this news. Tony was a great person to work with in the short time he was with us at Tyco Electronics. He was always positive in anything he did including all the tedious dicing blade technician work. May his family have comfot from above in this time of need.

Willie lit a candle on 15th July, 2008:

I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for always being there. You've been a best friend of mine for the past 12 years of my life. Even though our paths were split from time to time, we were always able to keep in touch and talk like we were kickin it on a daily basis. Thank you for always being so stress free, loving life every moment and sharing that love with everyone. You'll always be a big part of my life and experiences, love you bro.. rest in peace.

Eric Lam lit a candle on 15th July, 2008:

Though I did not know Tony as well as most here. I am honored to have known him during the short period. He have always seem to so strong in nature, not really expecting someone like himself to be in any harm. His honest and open nature will always remembered by me. I remember his gracious offer to tune up my bike, despite that I didn't really knew him that well. You will be missed my friend.

Kelvin Leung lit a candle on 15th July, 2008:

You'll always be remembered. You were always an inspiration, both in the way you lived your life, and the way you treated your friends. You were never afraid to live, and tried to encourage others to do the same. You'll be missed Tony.

Rest in Peace, Tony. Thank you for all the memories of letting me tag along with you and Jason during snowboarding season, especially for being patient and nice with my slowness and newbieness. You will be missed.

Jen... lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

I'm not sure exactly what is it that makes Tony so special. Perhaps his childish nature, or his sincere naivety. I'm not sure. All I know is that a week or two ago, we were eating Indian food at a Irish Pub shooting darts with a nasty hangover from my birthday dinner the night before. I dropped him off at home, "dude have a good trip, I'll see you when you get back" was the last words I ever said to him.

I never pretend that I'm a good person... by any means. But I would like to think that I prefer to surround myself with those that are better than me. Great people. I call them my compliments. Yesterday, I found out that I lost one of my better pieces. Pieces that make me whole.

Tony-I will forever miss you, my dear friend. I thank you for all the happiness and fond memories you've brought into my life. you will always have a special place in my heart... "arrrrghhhg gah gah gah" I hope I'm lucky enough to join you one day...

Trac Nguyen lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

You made classes that much more bearable with your kick back attitude. You always had an open invitation to join you on snowboarding trips and I am thankful for that. I had a blast in our little makeshift fight club and will always have a smile when I think back to SJSU days. Have a good one up there bud.

Christy Congson lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Hey Tony. I just got word last night and was completely caught of guard. I still remember the first time i spoke to you. it was in sjsu's so called tool/machine shop. I got you to help me make holes in some square metal piece. We had some good times since that day with all the techies. All our projects and random outtings. Good times and good memories. I won't forget you. Rest in peace.

Koh lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

I will be missed you forever. Rest in peace.

Jessica Cheng lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Yo! Yo! Yo! Tony!!!...

Words can't express how shocked I am. I still remember the first day I met you as if it was only a year ago... After the AACF event at Church in the Park in San Jose we stopped by a place to eat and I think it was a Denny's. I was trying to remember yours and Jason Park's name until you guys switched it up. Then it took me forever to get your names straight. You wouldn't tell me your last name and kept giving me hints like saying it's Minh's favorite drink. Silly Tony Tang.

I won't forget the awesome times we had! Sorry for throwing up along your WHOLE block. I should've helped you hose it down. You were always so positive in everything that you did and I really admired you for that. Tony, I'll remember you always. Rest in peace.

Willis lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

You will be missed. RIP man.

Paul Barte lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Though I've only had the pleasure of knowing you for a few years, you were one of the most jovial people I know. Your laughter was contagious and hanging out with you was always a good time. Everyone that was even remotely associated with you will miss you, I'm sure. Rest in peace buddy.

Camilla lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

This is BS. It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Tony was one of the few guys I knew who was genuinely nice and kind to everyone. Including myself, who's always used to getting clowned by everyone else except Tony - always the positive thinker.

Timmy Leong lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Man when I read this news it came as a shock to me. Can't believe Tony you are actually gone. I knew yo since SJSU days and met when we were in the same hall at Royce in the dorms. Wow man you allowed me to enter your life and meet some of your frends and I'll never forget that man. We has some fun times during those days in the dorms. I remember hanging with your posse going to car shows and stuff like that man realy cool. But yeah Tony I tried to kick it with you but we just didnt have times when we were free and stuff but I just can't believe i didn't get to see you before you passed away. Man you will never be forgotten and ill miss you dude. Rest in peace man and ill be praying for you.

Brandon Wong lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Thanks for all the good times. Whether it was mountain biking or snowboarding, you always encouraged me to be better. It's going to be tough doing these things without you. Every time I clip into my bike or strap into my snowboard, I'll remember the one tip you kept drilling into me. Just point and shoot... don't think about it, just do it! I'll miss you. You were my best friend, and I could always count on you. It's not going to be the same snowcrashing without ya.

Michael lit a candle on 14th July, 2008:

Tony... you are one of the best friends that a person can have. It's so hard to believe that something this bad can happen to someone so great. I am so lucky to have called you my friend and I will never forget all the wonderful times we spent together just hanging out and having fun. It's not going to be the same without you. You will definitely be missed by every heart you've touched.
Love you man...
